The biggest benefit I see with 7 probes is that I'm more likely to get a single point to fixate vs multiple points/orbs.Minor Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06572393141493171788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3156991624486881146.post-50044493315890685352011-10-06T12:11:10.696-04:002011-10-06T12:11:10.696-04:00Thanks for doing the work, and showing the numbers...Thanks for doing the work, and showing the numbers. I had already done tests with 4 vs 5 probes, and hadn't really seen a benefit of having more probes out. I'm really interested how small ship sigs would affect it tho...Agatir Solenthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01406200434387964053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3156991624486881146.post-19858092572463870482011-10-01T10:37:30.171-04:002011-10-01T10:37:30.171-04:00I use the 7 probe style and have for a while.

Same time for scanning !<br /><br />About this :<br />"After bookmarking and renaming them Sig 1 and Sig 2 respectively, I then exited the hole to reset the scanner"<br /><br />Did you try the following :<br />- clear all ignored result (show all scan result since entering the system), from scan result menu.<br />- clear results (reset scanner), from a right click on a result. <br /><br />I'm using this to remove completed anomaly from my scan result. I don't know if this will work to restart scanning :)Jivanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05697770088155687515noreply@blogger.com
